An irregular galaxy is one of the galaxies in Everything. The solar system that the player starts in could possibly be inside an irregular galaxy. Irregular galaxies are difficult to tell apart from the emptiness of space except for the bright star at the center that marks the galaxy's star system.

An Irregular Galaxy appears to have many stars, yet you can only visit the one at the center. An irregular galaxy is a similar size to all other galaxies in the game, while in real life they are generally much smaller. A single solar system cannot be the powerful light at the center of a galaxy; only a supermassive black hole can.
